Barcelona is definitely one of the major European cities bathed by the Mediterranean Sea and also important for its cuisine: Mediterranean Diet, Intangible Cultural Heritage of Unesco. "Our diet is our best legacy."
In this sense, we are pleased to open our contribution talking about Mediterraea Diet and organic production in Spain, a sector that is experiencing upward trends.

The Mediterranean Diet comes from the geographical, historical and cultural anthropology from three continents: Africa, Asia and Europe. It is an immense cultural heritage accumulated over thousands of years and passed down from generation to generation.

"The Mediterranean we sat at the table to eat together and enjoy with friends and family. It is an ancient heritage that we must continue to transmit to future generations"
